I love the texture of his skin with various sized bumps yet his belly is so smooth and soft. He is so relaxed and will lie on my chest and let me pet him for the longest time. His feet are still darker but now his body is covered in speckles he has retained his bright yellow color and now has spots and bands of bright orange appearing in his tail. My favorite of the lizards is my Leopard Gecko he is a little over 9 inches long and 47 grams. His name is Mittens when I first got him as a baby he had black hands and feet like he was wearing mittens or socks. King Lizard of course is not stopped by the cats antics and will look at them as they jump and paw at the glass and continue on with whatever he was involved in. The cats love the Anoles they will jump at the aquarium and try to get the lizards. The last one does not have a name yet she is a small light brown female. Assassin which was originally Big Guy until King Lizard mounted her and we figured out he was a she. Darlene The Buff Lizard which my son named after me she is the biggest female. Every time I look around he is mounting one of the females. I think he is one of our happiest pets as he has his own harem, which he indulges in regularly. King Lizard he is the only male, very dark colored skin. We have 4 Bohemian Anoles that my son caught from outside. I love cuddling up with her and she has learned not to pellet on me (or else it is back to the cage). She knows when I am bringing her treat and starts hopping about and squealing getting all excited. I always give her a treat when I put her back in her cage after I've held her.

She loves carrots, collard greens and snuggling under my chin. She has brown eyes and her fur is milk chocolate and caramel color that sticks out everywhere like a punk rocker maybe that is why I picked her.

When I got her she was the runt of the litter so I think she will always be smaller than most guinea pigs. That is when she strikes lighting fast to bite. With no sign of aggression how could you not want to reach out and touch her. She will sing beautiful songs and fluff up her feathers to lure you in. We have a vaulted ceiling and her cage is hung with a pulley system to keep the cats at bay. Her favorite past times are biteing at anyone who comes to close, scolding the cats and throwing seeds. The bird Birdie she is a blue and white parakeet with attitude. Today after I checked on him with the sand in place perhaps his urge to travel is at and end for now. I swept the cage several more times before he decided he was not getting anywhere. I went about my other chores to return moments later and there he was again dig, dig, dig they must have some good crickets in China. I took the water dish cleaned it out and pulled out the all mighty paintbrush, after sweeping all the sand back into place I was happy.

He dug and dug till his water dish was full of sand and everything else was covered as well. When this did not work he went to the sand corner and decided he was going to try to dig to China. He promptly climbs stated structure and tries his best to escape from the top, not that this is possible because the top has latches on each side. I have a big rock like structure resembling a three tier cave cut in half this lays flush against the aquamarine so I can see him when he is inside. Perhaps since it was clean and fresh he no longer recognized where he was. He began by circling the cage several times. Now it is time to reintroduce Mittens to the cage, here is where the naughtiness began. First I put in the tiles, and pour sand in his (potty corner), then put in the remainder of the items. After washing and wiping down all these items it is time to reassemble the habitat. This substance is to kill bacteria that could be harmful to the reptile or me. Wipe Out is a disinfectant, cleaner and deodorizer it is made of suspicious ingredients all the bottle says is 99.87% inert ingredients and 0.13% Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride. It is a rather involved process I must take everything out, dump the sand and spray the inside with Wipe Out. I can be a lazy person on occasion and had put off doing this task as long as possible.
